    		// If confirm fields were mismatched, throw this error:
    		if (!empty($fieldMessage))
    		{
    			$err = $fieldMessage;
    			unset($fieldMessage);
    			return $this->FormatMessage($err);
    		}

    Just to make sure, that’s supposed to be err, not error, right?

      Yep. It is declared just a few lines above.
      //<?php
      $err = $fieldMessage;
      //...
      return $this->FormatMessage($err);

        &regHomeId
        The document ID of the page containing the WebLoginPE snippet call for type register. This is useful if you have WebLoginPE in the sidebar but you want to use a full page of input forms, etc... that will not fit in a narrow side bar.
        [!WebLoginPE? &regHomeId=`66`!]
        I have this sidebar with &regHomeId parameter as:
        [!WebLoginPE? &type=`simple` &loginFormTpl=`Weblogin` &regHomeId=`7`!]
        But if I enter incorrect data in the registration form  and I receive the error-text (wlpe.message) in the answer, then the registration form appears in sidebar!  tongue

          While trying to debug my other problem, I noticed a issue with the e-mail verfication when editing a profile.

          I added in fake data like shjksadjshjdghjsdhjdgsa76464646%, and oddly enough, it accepted it in the field. Is that an issue, or did I do something that didn’t trigger the error message for a invalid e-mail address?

          Also, my Profile button link is acting like the automatic login feature --- it will show the page, then "log in" to my account, even though I’m already logged in.

            Yeah, it is just a simple regex check and it is easy as hell to trick or beat, but it will usually catch if someone forgets to put the @whatever part on, making it easier for users who genuinely wish to sign up for an account at your site.

            I am putting you in charge of email validation. May I suggest something like the Lemos Validation Class which uses MX record check to make sure that it not only matches an email address format, but is actually a real, deliverable email address. I could not get the thing to work reliably so I put it to the side for now. I hope your luck (or persistence) is better smiley.

              ScottyD & Soshite,

              I’m not sure if this would offer any help or not, but Mike Cherim has a secure contact form that might offer some insight into validating and securing fields. I have been using his contact form on my sites and haven’t had any problems at all with "garbage" coming in.

                Alright. I’ll look into that while I’m working on fixing my little issue with WLPE. smiley

                  Something I’ve noticed while using WLPE. In Opera 9.50 (I’m using an snapshot/weekly, which is basically an Alpha), for some reason, any WLPE page wants to activate Opera’s element-loader (the data that gets loaded when you load the elements of a webpage), but it has 0/0. This is similar to the "hover" bug that was present in the Manager in an earlier Alpha. This doesn’t always happen, though.

                  This might be an issue on Opera’s end, so I can’t confirm it to be WLPE’s fault until a final version of Opera 9.50 is released. Just wanted to bring it to your attention, in case it becomes an issue for some reason.

                    If I use various values of "deteformat" and "lang" parameters for sidebar and for userlist for example, then last certained values of parameters are used in both places!
                    Whether probably to correct it for multiple call of wlpe on the page?

                      Are you meaning that when an error pops up, it’ll show in both places (or anything else that deals with wlpe.message? If so, I’ve had that happen as well. If you make it so only the Login Form template (I can’t recall the name for it), it’ll only show up when a login-related error exists. Since you’re using WLPE elsewhere, any other error would be in the page you call WLPE in, so there’s no issue doing this. smiley
