    Hi,
    I'm calling this snipped via page. The snipped exists since it sends the mail but in content area of the email there is: [[!GroupEletterQueue]] instead of my emails content. As I wrote before when I'm sending a test email, every thing works just fine.

      @Lucas

      I have not done much testing with the [[GroupEletterQueue]] in a resource. Maybe the user does not have permissions to some part of the API not sure will need to review. Are you able to set up CronManager? I have tested that and it works great.

          Now using Cron - all of my tags are not parsed - so I get [[*longtitle]] and [[*content]] in emails received.
          But I can see that CRON is throwing errors:
          PHP Notice: Trying to get property of non-object in /var/www/vhosts/...../core/model/modx/modparser.class.php on line 464

            Are you using the CronManager extra: http://modx.com/extras/package/cronmanager? Is that the full error message? Are you using the default setup or Advanced for MODX? Try going to System Settings -> Groupeletters -> groupeletters.debug and set it to True/Yes. And then read the MODX error log, Reports -> Error Log.

                Nice work! I am liking this addon so far though I haven't really gotten to beat on it yet. Is there any documentation or examples on implementing the tracking images and tracking url stuff? I've read through what I could find and it's not very clear to me what steps I need to do to implement.

                  OK. I had some time today to bang on this mod a bit. I am also having an issue with using a resource to process the queue while testing. I set up the cron, but haven't been patient enough to wait for it to kick off though I am hopeful.

                  I am experiencing the issue with the content not showing when processing through the resource and am seeing the snippet name
                  [[!GroupEletterQueue]]
                  in the email instead. I was hoping it was because the resource I created was set to rich text, but alas that didn't fix it either.

                  I do have one question on current capabilities. I have created two TVs to hold volume and issue numbers for each newsletter created and would like those to populate. Are there any issues with accessing TVs from the template? They show up fine when viewing the newsletter on the site, but none of the placeholders or TVs are processed when sent from the queue. I guess there's an issue with all TVs and placeholders and that needs to be sorted out first.

                  I also have a feature request for consideration. When users subscribe it would be great if they could select that there newsletter be sent in a mobile format (thinking select template by subscriber type-regular or mobile). Mobile optimized content is too anemic for full browser use but would be great to optimize view on a phone. I can post this request on Github if that works better.

                    I found an XHTML validation issue with the chuck that renders the form checkbox list.

                    The validation error is
                    "0" is not a member of a group specified for any attribute

                    In the provided GroupEletterGroupCheckbox chunk:
                    <input name="group[]" type="checkbox" value="[[+id]]" [[+is_checked]] id="rd_group_[[+id]]" class="radio"  />

                    should read like so to pass xhtml validation (only when checked is true):
                    <input name="group[]" type="checkbox" value="[[+id]]" checked="[[+is_checked]]" id="rd_group_[[+id]]" class="radio"  />

                    A blank or zero value (as in the supplied in the GroupEletterFormListGroups) also fails validation with the error:
                    value of attribute "checked" cannot be ""; must be one of "checked"

                    So for a new registration form (when none are selected), you need to omit the checked attribute entirely and modify the chunk line to:
                    <input name="group[]" type="checkbox" value="[[+id]]" id="rd_group_[[+id]]" class="radio"  />

                    If you want to check all by default, the chunk line should be:
                    <input name="group[]" type="checkbox" value="[[+id]]" checked="checked" id="rd_group_[[+id]]" class="radio"  />

                    And don't use the [[+is_checked]] placeholder. Maybe passing a snippet property to pass a list of IDs to check by default would be a nice enhancement.

                    This means I guess you can't use the same snippet and chunk to modify an existing subscription without some parameters to handle this.

                    Cheers!

                      Hi!

                      I've translated the module in french and I see the "fr" button to manage translations in the lexicon in the manager with the "en" "de" and "cs" buttons.
                      I've just created a directory "fr" and copied the default.inc.php translated in /core/components/groupeletters/lexicon/

                      But the translation used by default is still the english one.

                      How can I set the language of the GroupeEletters Add-on to be displayed in french by default?

                      Thank you for help.

                      Note: I've not installed Add-on to have different languages on my website (Babel for example)

                      Version: MODx Revolution 2.2.6-pl, GroupEletters 1.0 alpha3
