        Just use CSS and style it like any other HTML elements.

          Hello everyone. I just want to ask everybody’s help.

          I installed modx revo in a windows IIS 7.0 server. The installation was successful however, as i looked at the files folder at the modx manager my files were not there. Also, I can’t create a new directory. I hope you guys could help me with this matter.

          Thanks!:)

            Hi,

            Anyone know how to manage multiple sites with multiple domains using MODX?

            That can be done with MODx Revolution and Contexts... There are several methods to do that, and you can find them by googling for "modx multi domain".

            Sounds like a permission problem. In order to be able of making files through the package manager you will need to give PHP writing permissions. I’m by no means an expert on IIS, so I would like to advice you to start a topic about this in the dedicated IIS forum (think it’s under General Support).

              Revo upgrade q:

              Hi folkz.

              I want to upgrade frm Revo 2.0.6 to 2.0.6 pl2, but I guess my q anyhow is universal:

              - How do I retain the old content?

              I can´t find any info about this q which has to be very basic in nature...

              :)

                You don’t have to do anything. Just make a backup and run setup in Upgrade mode, and you’re good to go.

                  I have finally been coerced into swapping over to MODX. Feature-wise I don’t think it has enough juice to satisfy most users used to other alternatives. But maybe there is something I can’t see.
                  Can anybody suggest a good reference for help on forums and directories for MODX?
                  Much appreciated!

                    Are there any MODX revolution tutorial books or ebooks out currently or coming out soon (dates please) to help learn this new system?

                    Thanks

                      Hi and thanks in advance....

                      Ok, I decided to take a shot at building a site using Modx, I’ve done Flash and tried some of the other CMS like Drupal, Joomla, etc...but I liked the blank slate approach with Modx and so here I am...

                      I didn’t want to go 100% blank slate first time around so I downloaded the Modx Demo and I’m attempting to re-skin it, so far so good except I don’t want this tag in the sidebar - I used selection source to find ----> ///<h1 class="site-name">my site</h1>///, so then I ran page source to find ------>
                      //<body>
                      <div id="wrapper">
                      <div id="minHeight"></div>
                      <div id="outer">

                      <div id="inner">
                      <div id="right">
                      <div id="right-inner">
                      <h1 class="site-name">MY SITE</h1>
                      <div id="sidebar">//

                      Where can I find this "wrapper"?? Chunks? Php file? Anyone know how to get this out of there? I already have a logo with the site name so this text is redundant.

                      I know this is going to be something simple that my newbie butt is overlooking...but hey...please help???

                      Thanks again in advance!

                      update:

                      Ok I posted this question in the wrong area and I’m moving it here...

                      I did figure out I could simply just remove the site name in system settings and this would get rid of it BUT I also want to get rid of the "META:" section that’s part of the demo sidebar too, so I guess I need to find out where to edit this...
