Hmm, that’s not good. I’ll check it out tonight - I was having problems upgrading my live site to 0.9.2 last night but hopefully I’ll have more luck tonight.

    Thanks for reporting the issue,

    Garry

Garry, thanks for the quick response smiley

This could be a problem on my part, I’ll try to retrace my steps to make sure of that... and if anyone had Autolink installed on 0.9.1 and upgraded then please report if it works well for you !

Hi David, glad you got it working smiley

Regards the accented characters - I did have it solved and tested ... and now I can’t find the @#?% file. It’s either lurking in one of my test installs on my laptop or it just vanished into thin air. I’ve got every version of the file apart from the one I want.

So, I’ll have another look for it and if I can’t find it, I’ll have to recode the changes (not too bad as I can remember what I did to solve the issue - just!).

I’ll make this my task for the week, I promise! Apologies for the lengthy wait on this,

            Garry

You’re kidding, no need to apologize !!!

I am the one (me and accented language speaking people) who has the need for this, you’re nice enough already to have taken this into account !

Too bad about the file, I hope you’ll find it, it’s so d%mn unnerving to loose work...
              Thanks again Garry !

Okay, I have recoded the changes ... why are things always quicker the second time round? laugh

I have attached the patched version of the plugin for testing. wink Only the plugin will need updating, the module stays the same.

I’ve tested it out on various accented characters and words and seems to work fine but I would love a second opinion on it. The plugin checks for encoded and non-encoded occurrences of keywords so should hopefully capture all the instances of keywords that use accented characters.

If it works for everybody else, I’ll get the main package updated.

So far everything is working just F-I-N-E !!!
Example here on a developpement website using AutoLink grin

I’ll try it some more but looks A-OK !
