I need use it only into a chunk, not in all the template. Is it possible ?
Totally, just tag areas of your content (whether in a chunk or template) with the <autolink></autolink> tags and it will only link in those areas.

Is it possible to add "lang=", "hreflang="... in the element "a" (link) with autolink ?
I still need to sort out the accented characters but once that’s done, I’ll look at adding the ’lang’ attribute.

Just on the accented characters, can either you or David let me know what character set you are using for the database so I can get a proper simulation up and running on my local machine.

    Thanks, Garry

I use Modx with UTF-8 and my database use ISO-8859-1. I know that is bad but my hoster no permit me to use UTF-8.

      Thanks

I think a goo feature will be to have alias for keyword.
Actually, I have defined 2 keyword "Firefox" and "Mozilla Firefox". They have the same properties but if "Mozilla Firefox" is written only "Firefox" is linked. I supposed that is because keywords are sorted alphabetically.
        I have :
        Mozilla <a class="autolink_link" href="http://www.mozilla.com/firefox/" title="Firefox : navigateur internet">Firefox</a>

        <a class="autolink_link" href="http://www.mozilla.com/firefox/" title="Firefox : navigateur internet">Firefox</a>

        I would like :
        <a class="autolink_link" href="http://www.mozilla.com/firefox/" title="Firefox : navigateur internet">Mozilla Firefox</a>

        <a class="autolink_link" href="http://www.mozilla.com/firefox/" title="Firefox : navigateur internet">Firefox</a>

Is it possible for a next release ?

Thanks for this great snippet smiley

Cool idea, Gulliaume! I’ll definitely look into this for the next release. grin

I want to completely revamp the module and I can bundle in all these great suggestions at the same time, I feel an Ajax sortable list creeping in somewhere wink

On another note, I’ve made progress with the accented characters and I think I have a working solution. I’m tied up for the next few days on another little development but will be picking this up next week for sure.

          Thanks, Garry

This is great news Garryn !

I just *love* this module/plugin combo and some ajax sugar coating would be a real bliss grin

              hello,

great Snippet, I really find it very usefull. grin
I wonder if it is possible to refer to a document id or alias in the value of a keyword to link to the corresponding page ? This could avoid do repeat the URL of the site in each keyword.

Hi Garryn, just dropping by to say this is working just great : I have been using this plugin for a few weeks now and it runs smoothly and has no negative impact on page loading times which is great !

The only thing which bothers me is the fact it doesn’t work with accented characters in Keywords... any luck solving this ?
                Again, thanks !!!

Hi David, I’ve been working on a new release that will include the accented characters support amongst other things. It seems to be taking a bit longer than expected, mainly because I’m developing it whenever I get a spare five minutes here and there.

What I will do is release an interim patch for the accented characters. I’ll aim to get it out tomorrow at some point. smiley As far as I’ve tested the fixes, it seems to do the job.

                  Cheers, Garry

I have a problem with Autolink after a 0.9.2 update : the plugin/module doesn’t seem to parse anything, accronyms or abbreviations are not linked / accronymed anymore...

Is it just me or anyone has experienced the same problem ?
