Document’s alias is not sticking, keeps going blank after you save
I also have this problem. Hope it’s fixed asap and i keep editing my fresh MODx installation.
I actually experienced this alias disappearing issue with a "post-official" 0.9.6 version from SVN a week or two back. I reverted to the official 0.9.6 and the problem was fixed.

I’ll see if I can fix CustomAlias and put a new version in the repository. I actually don’t think this is 0.9.6 specific with CustomAlias though.
I should note that I am also using the CustomAlias plugin. Upon disabling this plugin, the alias sticks just fine when editing via QuickEdit.
I was still having trouble saving with latin1 encodings until I made some new adjustments to this in branches/0.9.6 last night; I merged these changes to trunk just a few moments ago. It needs to be thoroughly tested on as many encodings as possible, but should be saving properly now regardless of the encoding.

hi there,
i’ve upgraded one of my modx installations from 095 to 096 and now when i log in to the manager this is what i now see along the top:
admin | Messages ( Window.addEvent(’load’ / function() { qe = new QuickEdit(2) | Help | Logout | 0.9.6
also every time i add or edit a chunk/snippet when i hit save i get a preview of the site in the main window rather than the "changes saved" message!
any ideas why this might be? (the site is running on linux, php5.2.0, mysql 5.0.27)
I think you need to add "SecFilterEngine Off" into /manager/.htaccess file....
