Is the manager slow for anyone else in MODx Revolution 2.0.0-beta-1?

If only Chrome worked with Robofom -- sigh. :’(

If only Chrome was stable on linux -- sigh

Retraction: when that new file browser popped up to pic an image for a TV, I peed my pants, a little. Seriously, that shiz is pimp.

Yes the resurce browser is awsome...but...Need to filter out hidden files like .htaccess and on my local host .DS_Store. Also in the image TV you can select php files (or any other file) not just images which could e a problem.

The only thing i don’t like so far in the new manager is the dependency of right-clicking. Seems that without right-clicking you really can’t do too much. Being a mac user (one button) this can get annoying. I would like to see a single click alternative...maybe adding options to create new Content Elements directly in the main menu would be a good idea.

Just a quick and friendly note, don’t forget JIRA: http://svn.modxcms.com/jira

Try Chromium from launchpad - https://launchpad.net/chromium-project
But for me Midori is better - https://launchpad.net/midori
Both on Webkit core

6 months?

I tried both Evolution and Revolution in Chrome, and I agree that it’s much faster. I will be using it for my managers from now on.

I just read that Roboform plans to have a beta out for Chrome in the fall.

I was about to bitch how slow revo manager is when I saw this post. using chrome brings it back to life. would be nice if we knew what tweaks we can do to FF to make it respond that fast too.
