Quick update: we have to get the book down to 770 or fewer pages by tweaking the index, TOC and front layouts so we can keep it under 4 lbs with all shipping materials (media matter rate here in the US) and also works for flat rate international shipping that way too. That’s delayed the pre-orders to next week (or maybe over the weekend), due to also working out international flat rate shipping ... but we’re finally almost there!

So, how is the progress?
I’m keen on buying the book as soon as possible. I’ve jumped into modx just today, this book will be perfect for me to start building knowledge base about CMS and its features.

You're not the only one waiting. I sent in my money a few weeks ago. I hope it comes out before my bosses abandon the project and leave me hanging with a book I no longer need.

Two months ago they said pre-orders would start (to be taken) in a week, not that the book would ship in a week.
I saw a tweet (I think) a few days ago that the proof was in. So I suppose it will depend on whether the proof was accepted.
Dave V--I'm sure you'd be able to sell your copy if you don't want it.
