Is MODx Web Development book relevant to Revolution?

Oh, I'll be keeping it. It's just that they won't be so inclined to reimburse me if we're not using it. Chances are they'll keep me busy with MODX either way.

They did say "Ships in September" though. I understand delays, as long as I know it'll get to me eventually.

I'm anxious to see it myself. I hope people won't be disappointed when the book finally arrives.

Having learned most of what I know from all your guides and forum posts, I have no doubt that the book will be anything but disappointing Bob I wasn't complaining as such, I'm just extremely eager to get my copy! Hurry up mr publisher man! Lol

The gist: the proof wasn't accepted right away so changes are being worked on. It should ship between 10 & 18 October and from there on I guess it depends where you live on how long it takes.

Sooo... has this shipped or not? And of more relevance to me - has this shipped internationally anywhere yet? (I'm in the UK and not a sausage*, nary a dickie bird*).

For those not from these parts, both these expressions are synonymous with 'silence'.

And I mean thumped. Wow. That is a beast of a book. Now I can safely put it on the shelf and wait for the radiation to transmit the contents to my head.

I placed my order at Amazon.com about a week ago for around $40-something, and i was looking forward to receiving it. However, yesterday I got an e-mail from Amazon saying that the order had been canceled due to "lack of vendor availability". What happened? Did you cancel the Amazon contract? If so, big mistake!

Now I see the book at Amazon for $150!!! See for yourself!
