      It's much faster for me to do them inside the manager, nuking the users, nukes the posts.

        Hi Jay

        I see no facility to remove posts or move them to a sandbox etc.

        Could you let me where I should be looking to remove spammers / spam posts

        Cheers

          @iusemodx, I don't recall what the post UI looks like for non-admins. At the very bottom of the screen there should be a static link to mark as spam. At the top right of every post there should be a link to report spam or nuke spam, not sure which. I'll create a regular user and test this out.

          @all,

          I've nuked as many of the spam threads as possible but now I need to clean up the spam posts in other threads. I just need to know either what users or threads. (though nuking the users deletes their posts in the admin).

          In addition, I am working with the team to see if we can't get Rampart working again. I've narrowed down why it was causing issues, now I need see about getting it resolved.

          Soon, spam should go back to the way it was before, rare and infrequent.

            I can see the report at the bottom of every post, but have no other links to delete or report.

              Okay @all, I've now got Rampart back up and running on modx.com which seems to be working correctly to ID Spammers registering at modx.com. We'll still get some manual spammers here and there but the bot spammers will stop.

                  Nuked the posts and banned the users (through the FE interface) from the first post in this thread up to this point.

                      I should note, that I think there are quite a number of users that they registered but had no posts for just this reason. It will take us some time to find them all. I'll have the remainder of the found folks removed in the coming days. Rampart is doing it's job which includes referencing project Honeypot and StopForumSpam.
