Help Combat Forum SPAMMERS

Jup I hate them too.

I always click on Report and add the link to it, but not sure if something happens after that.

Maybe unlink them in this post.

Apparently the "report" feature doesn't actually work.

To be honest, I have never seen a "report" link until now.

It could be a bit more obvious.

Some ideas:

* I would use a stronger color, so it is easier to notice.
* I would also recommend to display it all the time in the top right corner and not only on hover in light gray besides the quote button.
* Finally "Report" as title for a link already called "Report" doesn't help to communicate the purpose of the button. How about "report this post to a moderator" or "temporarily send this post to the prison server for viciously violating the forum rules".

Just remembered, that this week I wrote FIRST into a post. It was a weak moment.

Frankly there is so much spam coming in now that trying to list it all seems counter productive! Can any of the moderators get involved here and let us know the best way of reporting/removing it? Happy to help out if needed

I am going to take care of the spammers from the Discuss admin and make sure we have Rampart running properly.

I should say, I don't think the report spam feature is working. I'll also look into that too.
