How do we go about installing this update? Doesn't seem to be possible via the Package Manager.

@chris: i had some trouble as well. i removed the whole old addon, remove the package from the server and did a fresh install. Authenticating with Google went as epected.

When I install this, and try to authenticate, I keep getting a 500 error when it returns me to my site. I have installed and reinstalled the add-on several times.

I noticed in the return URL, the action 'a' parameter doesn't have a value - is this correct? eg


I didn't notice anywhere in the package installation instructions that you should fill in some system settings before attempting to run the extra. It would seem an obvious idea to add this line in the installation instructions for clarity.

It would also be nice if there were clearer instructions for specifically which details are needed for the system settings!

Yes, and there isn't anything in my server error log file, or the modx error log... can't think what else it might be.

What is your MODX version and the Widget version? Any other relevant info you might add?

its a private server, with apache and php 5.3.3 as fastcgi

Christian, do you have the dashboard or the dashboard widget installed? There's a difference between them You need to remove the dashboard, change you manager_theme setting to 'default' (if needed using phpmyadmin in the system_settings) and install the widget.
