        Hi!
I just installed 0.9.6 RC1 (I had 0.9.5) and in my manager.... seems like no .css is attached to the document... everything is "ugly styled" smiley

What seems to be the problem?

          • Modxgreen display two little bugs when you hide the tree of documents
          • frontend: when you search with nothing entered it display a result anyway : 3 results found for "Search here..." laugh (the same with only a space caracter or a tabulation)
          • I have now found the difference between "utilisateur" and "utilisateur web", it too complex for having a community and not really clear imho

Just a little "misspelling" in every theme, for the "loginLicense" : "© 2005-20072006 by the MODx CMF Team. MODx™ is licensed under the GPL." wink

when trying to add role (admin2) getting this error:

« Execution of a query to the database failed - Unknown column ’edit_chunk’ in ’field list’ »

that is just creating a name and hit save, no additional checkboxes marked

Ummm, you need to make sure you logout of the manager and run the upgrade install process. This field was added in the upgrade.

I just installed newest 0.9.6-RC2 (rev 2409), and even though I said NOT to install eForm, apparently my eForm include PHP file was overwritten, because now I get this error from eForm:

WARNING! The version of the eForm snippet (version: 1.4.3) is different from the included eForm file (version: 1.4.2). Please make sure you use the same version for both.

I know how to correct the error above, which isn’t the problem, but why is eForm still being installed when I deliberately unchecked the box?

Unfortunately because that’s the version of the files in the distribution you unzipped. If you don’t want the latest snippets, you’ll need to restore the appropriate assets directories from your existing deployment.

This is one of the reasons I really hate having add-ons in the core distro, and another of the long list of motivations for a "pick and choose the add-ons you want" distribution, with much smarter installation and upgrade processes for the core and the add-ons you’ve chosen. This is definitely one of the central issues to be addressed immediately following 0.9.7 release, and I’ve been doing a lot of research into the best ways to accomplish it.

After having some trouble with 0.9.6 RC1 and Ditto 2.0 RC2 after upgrading (as stated here: http://modxcms.com/forums/index.php/topic,12204.msg83388.html#msg83388) I thought I’ve messed it up and decided to do a clean install with the SVN version 0.9.6 RC2 (2409). The only things I’ve done on this install were to change the backend language to german, disable caching and to activate friendly urls and friendly paths. Anyway, I’ve run into the following problems:

                      • 1) There is no output (i.e. a white page) when opening the blog page
                      • 2) Removing the reflect snippet call brings the page up but the Ditto snippet retrieves no blog entries (this is not the intention of the default content, I guess smiley
                      Some other things:

                      • 3) Firebug gets a JS error: Window.onDomReady is not a function [Window.onDomReady(activateSearch);] in AjaxSearch.js (line 177)
                      • 4) Template switching doesn’t work
                      • 5) Quickedit doesn’t work in Opera 9.10/Windows (no drop down menus)
Mainly 1) and 2) seem interesting to me. Can anyone reproduce those on a clean install?

                      Bye,
