And Jason just merged it, so the RC-2 is just dying to be released :-D

Maybe it’s to late, and maybe it’s only something that went wrong in my trial 9.6 installation, but I am not getting the ’Chunks’ tab in the manager Resources-> MAnage Resources page...

tested in Firefox and Safari latests versions for Mac.

Which version lukwe? (It’s never too late until it’s out of RC-stage )

There are new permissions associated with chunks, so maybe they need to be applied to your other users.

This happens when I log in as admin with full privileges; the 0.9.6 install is a mirror I created from the mySQL dump of the 0.9.5 site; everything else seems on place. BTW where are chunks saved in the mySQL tables? I cannot find a ’dedicated’ table for them with phpadmin.

When upgrading, make absolutely sure you don’t have an open manager session. Log out of the manager first in other words. You might try to re-run the upgrade like that to see if it fixes it.
