Its still not working?
I put the CSS in and all it did was expand the page a bit, the pictures tab is still in the gallery?
Do I need to modify the JS or something?
Or put something else in the Div?

well make sure you have that #div in your css, but also in the template used on that page.
You could use the firefox web dev toolbox to verify where the carousel has gone.
Is the site live?
Updated the snippet to 0.6, works fine.
Okay I figured out the problem, I needed the new smoothgallery, sorry all.
Has anyone figured out how to get the scrolling working if the info panel is turned off?
I found some forums with examples but it only works on clicking a image, I want the scrolling to work as soon as the gallery is loaded.

got the smoothgallery display sorted now. Really nice snippet, very clean display, just what I need.
Next issues to tackle and I need some guidance there, are the tpl ’s.
I would like someway to have an "alt" over the main image, and an icon attached to an ecommerce or at least a logged in (web)user.
Now I have been trying, and it seems to me that one of the main files is the gallerypicturetpl.html.
Tried to use all kinds of chunks but its kind of hard, also the wiki is unclear for me. ( I never sofar understood what an outer, an inner etc tpl are all about)
So in short how do I setup things so that an image (read product) is attached to a logged in user, ecommerce call?
And how do I get the picture info in an alt, hovering over te main picture, showing the title etc of the picture?
Also where are those fields defined and customized, title etc?
Hope someone can help or send me in a direction,

What kind of snippet call you are using? eg. what display type? galleryPictureTpl is used to render the thumbnails of a gallery. But if you are talking about smoothgallery, it takes input like this (what is in the top of the default gallerypicturetpl):

Smoothgallery parses that html with javascript to create its slideshow.

You need to do javascript for example that finds the picture details from the html and adds the necessary information to your shopping basket via ajax for example. This is really out of scope for MaxiGallery support. You could create new thread into some support/development subforum about it if you don’t know how to do it.

For extra fields, you need to have the v0.6 test version and use &customFields snippet parameter. See the v0.6 sticky thread and the bottom of the first post, there’s some info on how to set it up.
