MaxiGallery with Smoothgallery 2.0

Does MaxiGallery works with Smoothgallery 2.0?

I am interested to put the carousel outside of the photo frame
and the photo on top...

yes, the v0.6 test version uses smoothgallery 2.0

Do you mean how to use external carousel in smoothgallery? I think it’s just a matter of using &smoothgallery_useExternalCarousel=`true` and &smoothgallery_carouselElement=`#idofthelement`. Not 100% sure though, I’ve never tried it.

well not sure what you mean with external carrousel What I am trying to accomplish is to have a top rectangle showing large images.
And below that have a horizontal carrousel (in the red box) with all the availlable images. So far I got stuck here:

Now in the end I want to be able to attach an ecommerce system to the large image so that a click will add it to the basket. If that is NOT an option with Maxugallery, please let mknow so I will go and look for other options.

Yep, just try what I said above.

For the ecommerce link, it’s not a problem. You could define a customfield in maxigallery for example that holds the add to basket link url and then do custom template and use that link for the link from the picture.
