oh boy,

I get a

move_uploaded_file() [function.move-uploaded-file]: SAFE MODE Restriction in effect. The script whose uid is 10029 is not allowed to access /var/www/vhosts/smashit.it/httpdocs/assets/galleries/17

Bad no? Seeen that in s previous thread, something with apache versus ftp user ownership? Chmod is 777 on the galleries folder.

You need to setup maxigallery to use FTP commands to handle file uploads. Check the wiki page and all parameters that have "ftp" in them.

Hi,

Okay I altered the call, kept it minimal, cause I had problems with the upload too:

and this is the error, seems it does not find the server?

By the way its hard to find the wiki and this page has a problem in IE7 (FF is okay). The content area is hidden under the footer.

Use ftp://ip.number.here as the address.

Still get the same error, but I forgot one thing. I am testing this on an excisting site.
Planning to get another domain for this testsite. The guys I ussualy use do NOT use safe mode, duhh.
So I will claim the domain and the problem will be gone. Sorry for waisting your time.

Yeah.. but the FTP commands should really be working too.. I have tested and used them my self. Don’t know what’s the problem in your case.

I am using the same detail as I use in FTP. However in FTP I also can use www.smashit.it, resolves as 85.18.11.93.
Anyway, just also moving the IT domain, cause they always show problems with everything. Thanks,

Hi,

moved the site to the its destination host and Smoothgallery works fine.
However I cant seem to find where to set the size of the main picture. And padding and margin of the carrousel to seems a bit a problem. Is that done in the jd.gallery.css? When I change the size the image dissapears? Anyone exxperrienced with that?

The normal pictures are shown in smoothgallery by default. Their size is controlled with &max_pic_size parameter. The smoothgallery div width / height uses the same size by default, that can be controlled with &smoothgallery_height and &smoothgallery_width parameters. Other styling like paddings and margins are in jd.gallery.css. Remember that MaxiGallery resizes the images on upload. So if you change the parameters, be sure to re-upload the images.

Hi,

Thanks, I noticed that when clicking the large picture it does actually enlarges end then does fill the whole div, the size I want.
Is it possible to open that enlargement straight from the click on the carrousel?
