    When clicking the administration center link i get this error

    : Table ’modx.smf_sessions’ doesn’t exist
    /path/smf/Sources/Load.php
    1889

    me too. i also got this error message once trying to log on my forum every time. however it works again once i refresh the error page by clicking the refresh button within my web browser eg IE.

    is there anyone can help me? very urgent!

    I do experience exactly the same. And my users have the problem, when they try to directly access the forum (not coming from a link in modx ).

    It’s by design that the system create a random password. I now have to find a way to allow them to be able to set the MODx password from SMF sad

    Time for a version 1.1

    I’m looking very much forward to this feature? Is there any progress to this?

      At long last, allows you to sync your SMF user system with the MODx webusers and run the SMF administration system inside the MODx manager.

      NOTE: please make sure you are running MODx 0.9.1 or later and SMF 1.1RC2. Earlier versions of SMF will not work and this may need to be updated once SMF 1.1 is released from release candidate state.

      You can also download a .zip version here.

      Hi. i’m looking for this file, but unfortunately i can’t download it.. is it dead link?
      can somebody give other url?
      This my 1st time using CMS, my choice goes to Modx.

          I’m wondering if this works with 1.1.2.

            It’s not working properly. Check the various threads... And the bad thing about it: the core team isn’t working on an update... >:(

              The weirdest problem:
              I’ve installed MODx and SMF in two places, my local MacBook and on a Linus server. In both installations I also use the SMF Bridge.

              I can log in to the forum via MODx, and everything works just as it should. But I can’t log out. Unless I use Internet Explorer.

              I’ve tried two versions of inclusion: as a "weblink", i.e. the forum is simply presented as a "standalone" page, and as an included object in the MODx page (using an object tag and classid for IE, just object for all others). Neither works, unless I use Internet Explorer, in which case both works, but the object version shows the login page as an inclusion, even though the logout link has a target of "_top".

              I haven’t tried inclusion via PHP yet, but I’m guessing that won’t work either. Has anyone tried? Is anyone working on the login/logout issue (I know it’s been mentioned earlier in this thread, but I haven’t seen any solution)?

              Getting frustrated and slightly desperate here folks...

                I like the "modx webuser fullname" to be set as the "SMF members realName" I already changed the smf.sync.class.inc.php to do that and it does work on existing modx members on a new SMF instalation. but when I create a new Webuser in MODx this is not working.

                I did find where the plugin puts the username in the realName but when I change it like this:
                			$flds = array(
                				'memberName' => addslashes($username),
                				'emailAddress' => "$useremail",
                				'realName' => addslashes($username)

                to:
                			$flds = array(
                				'memberName' => addslashes($username),
                				'emailAddress' => "$useremail",
                				'realName' => addslashes($fullname)

                the realName is blank in smf.
                I could not find the way to get this to wrk.
                If somone does understand why this is not posible please let me know.

                would also be nice to be able to sync even more fields.

                  I know that I will receive the Idiot of the Year award for asking this, but here goes.
                  I have installed SMF installed, and the SMF Bridge installed and it appears to be working (at least from the admin side of things). My ultimately stupid question is this.

                  How do I add this to the document structure of the site? Do I add simply use a weblink and use http;//www.mydomain.com/forum or do I create a document and add it as as snippet or chunk or other?

                    And the idiot of the year award goes to... wink

                    Joking aside, I just added a weblink to the forum and added the link to my main menu.

                      I did the same thing. I made a weblink with target="_blank" in the link attributes (for popup).

                      Too bad it’s a separate application. I’d much rather it appear as modx content.
