Ok I figured out why my cart wasn’t updating.

My PHP version is 5.1.6 and thus did not have json installed. To fix on server:

• pecl install json
• add extension=json.so to your php.ini file
[li]restart apache, service httpd restart

I customized this application to provide for a product rewards system. Works great. The onipnverified plugin was extremely helpful to be able to update users rewards points after they ordered and paid for the items shipping.

Paypal will error if you have no price for all items. So since my products only had shipping charge based on weight, I created a function to replace the price of the item with the shipping cost which comes from an array with shipping weight and corresponding costs.

I had a reported problem on a site running TreasureChest.

This only seems to affect FireFox 2.0.0.18 (in Vista) from what I can tell?

I also have FireFox 2.0.0.18 in XP and that is fine. FireFox 3.0.4 on Mac is fine.

The problem is that the hidden ’view cart’ link does not show when the ’add to cart’ button is pressed. This is not just my site - see the TreasureChest demo product:

EDIT: Got it fixed. When I typed the snippet into the cart the a didn’t go through, so I ended up with Tresurechest instead of Treasurechest. Honest mistake.

Does anyone have a copy of the videos from Scotty’s website? They aren’t hosted anymore, and I can’t get the cart to work and thought the videos might help.

I just installed Treasure Chest and I am having some difficulty with product options. I have a t-shirt that comes in sizes S through XXL. S through L are $12, and XL and XXL are $15. I can add the shirts to the cart just fine, but changing the size does not carry over to the checkout modal window.

Also, if I select, say, one Medium and then one XXL, it shows up as one item with 2 as the quantity in the checkout window and has one drop down to select size.

This module/snippet is nice, but it doesn’t seem to be tied into the MODx system very intuitively - its great that the client can login and update all his products in one area, but does anyone know the best way to get the products automatically into documents to be fed into Ditto?

Each product document in the Manager would have to include the product page’s template and a call like this [[treasureChest? &item=`6`]]

But the &item and each document would need to be added automatically every time the client adds a new product to the Treasure Chest module, does anyone know how to do this? - its not ideal for the client to have create a new document in the Ditto folder and then to copy-paste the "[[treasureChest? &item=`6`]]" code into it and also update the &item...

I have installed TC perfectly following instructions 100%.

But when ever i call the snippet my whole page goes blank not just the div that holds the item. I look at page source code and it is blank?????? any ideas.
