Are there any options for product images? Will I be able to upload one (or several) images per product?

Yeah, images will be doable, I am reworking the way the page is displayed to set placeholders, so It will have the snippet call somewhere in the top of the document content and then things like [+treasure.item_name+] and you could put an image anywhere in there, you know? But all your inventory, cost, tax, shipping, etc... can be managed from one convenient central location.

Nice work, props on all the hard work for this. I’m very interested in this and will definitely get a "license" (however you plan to work it) when you release this commercially.

The release date will probably be in about 10 days (the first week in December).
This is not marketed as "Pro" eCommerce software, it is just a simple way to start selling on your site with paypal within a matter of minutes... In that Sense, the license fee will be something to the order of $20 USD.

I want this to be affordable so that anyone who wants to set up shop can do it, without having to get a merchant account, a payment gateway, and an SSL certificate, but I have also been "logging" my hours on this project and I have just over 64 hours logged so far. The licensing fee will be just to offset that cost a bit.

99% of my projects will continue to be GPL.

$20 is very reasonable even for small sites and here in the U.K. that’s just less than £10 or four pints of beer.
When I put it that way it’s much too cheap!
On the upside if 92 people buy it you can have a pint everyday for a year, that’s pretty close to nirvana.
I’ll keep an eye open for further news!

The awefull modx has deserved a nice little shop module as yours.

a few questions neither:
Is it able to work with direct debiting , invoice (account), cash on delivery, prepayment? A good amount of (local) shops could deal with this.
