I’ll be darned. I left the siteCache.idx.php file in tact, made my page cacheable, but ran the [!snippet!] uncached as Ryan suggested. And it works for me too. That is crazy weird stuff.

Did you guys refresh the system after saving the snippet?

Oh yeah. I refreshed. I modified. I tweaked, mangled, twisted, poked, stretched, and even kicked the tires. I think this is a bonafied bug.

          lol,
I tried to disect the code this morning, but couldn’t find anything obvious that causing this problem. Maybe our core coder will be more helpful to solve this problem. grin

            Hmmm,

This is very stange. I’ll try to reproduce the error but a good place to start is to have alook at the escape functions used inside the cache manager.

Oh shit! This just started happening on my live site....  www.web2grow.com.  It has been running fine, and now its not.  Didn’t change anything in the setttings, or Snippets.  I was just editing a page.

Originally it gave an errors like this:

But now the page doesn’t display at all.

              I’m running version 0.9.0

Try to call your snippet uncached via [!snippetname!] and see if the error goes away.

No change. The home page has only one Snippet (menu) and I have tried uncached.

I don’t think this is the same thing. If it was previously working, something else has happened. Upgrade to 0.9.1 as there are a lot of things it fixed over 0.9.0, or contact me for a build of 0.9.2 with even more fixes via PM.
