Is there any reason (v096) that when I change the TinyMCE Settings Theme to "Custom" and remove certain "Custom Buttons" that the TinyMCE changes don’t stick? When I try to pass custom/simple/etc, the values come right back and the Theme defaults back to "Content Editor" ... How can I customize the TinyMCE toolbar for our content editors? I’ve tried this at the Site Config level, down to the user-level w/ same results. Custom doesn’t stick...?
Update:
It appears that upon saving at the user level, the "custom" theme and plugins/buttons
are properly saved in the database
modx_user_settings:
tinymce_custom_plugins
tinymce_custom_buttons1
tinymce_custom_buttons2
However, if I edit the user AT ALL, the default TinyMCE settings are populated into the user form and NOT that user’s defined TinyMCE definitions from
modx_user_settings. So, if I go in to change password, email, or anything the TinyMCE theme gets set to "Content Editor" and before you know it the user has all the unwanted TinyMCE buttons
This appears to happen in the Site configuration as well.
modx_system_settings is properly updated, but the second you have to change your Site configuration/Content editor profiles for ANY reason, the default TinyMCE settings override anything you may have previously defined... thoughts??
