I am using TinyMCE 2.1.1.1 running on MODx 0.9.6. and I have a problem with adding buttons to the custom Web Theme.

1. I set the Theme to Custom

2. I tried to include the following buttons in my Web buttons 3 list:
fontsizeselect,fontselect

3. Then I saved.

But those buttons were not added. Am i missing something or is this a bug?

I bet its a problem with user overrides. Try setting the buttons within your user preferences instead of the main configuration. I’m fixing to release the 2.1.2 version of TinyMCE that will fix this bug.

TinyMCE (2.1.1.1) and resources browser work perfectly, but (there’s always a but..) :

How can I change the sort order of the files in the resources browser ? They seem to be ordered by modified date, I would them to order in alphabetical order. Any solutions ?

Hi.

I have a clean install of MODx 0.9.6 upgraded with TinyMCE 2.1.2 and while viewing this site on the blog pages, generated via Dito (Standard Demo Add A Blog page) I cannot use any Rich Text Features in the main body of the blog. If I have a look at the error in IE I see this. Its hosted on IIS 6 (Win2k3Sp2) with a fairly recent PHP/MySQL - Both 5+, however it also occurs on older versions 4+

In Firefox this works ok, but it will not be just me editing this site.
I have this error on a couple of sites configured the same way and one running MODx 0.9.5 with an older version of TinyMCE (The default with 0.9.5)

I am asking since I succeeded in adding buttons by now but the table related buttons i add are being ignored as it seems. If it is not included will it be in the next version? Could I do it myself?

Thanks for getting back to me on this. However I had allready found out with the help of hquadrat in the MODx irc channel. I guess it’s good to have the information here in this thread regardless. Others might look for it.

I installed TinyMCE but it doesn’t actually load. I set it as the preferred editor, but it’s always just a text-area. Neither does it appear if I manually select it from the dropdown.

I read the whole thread, and found a few people with this problem, but it looked like a reinstall solved the problem for everybody else. I am in the process of re-uploading it, but I’m not real hopeful. I’m at a loss for what to do. For lack of a better idea I’m going to try installing FCKEditor, but it seems stupid to have two editors where one would be sufficient.
