Right. Any version of MySQL 5.0.51 (a, b, nothing or otherwise) will have problems.

The new Version 5.0.67-0 seems to fix that issue, just upgraded to 5.0.67-0 and everything works fine http://dev.mysql.com/downloads/mysql/5.0.html#downloads

Is there a way round this version issue.

My host is providing 5.0.51a, I have asked if this can be upgraded but I suspect not. I have a sorting issue, the settings in the Ditto snippet (ASC - ascending DESC - descending) have no effect.

There’s not a way around it that doesn’t involve compromises and the ability to upgrade to newer code while maintaining your hacks to the distributed version.

I had a similar problem and found two fixes. With 5.0.51a, I think Ditto lists the documents in the order they were created regardless of ASC or DESC so you can recreate the pages in the correct order.

A second fix is to remove the "GROUP BY" clause in the Ditto source code. There are possible side effects but I made this fix quite a while ago and haven’t seen any.

I believe the side effect would be if a document was part of more than one document group the user had access to, the user would see duplicate results for each document group after the initial one.
