Don't know if this is best place for this - but honestly I've already spent too much time looking around and have other work to do - hope this helps:

I do not see a way to edit my posts.

The edit button (just above where I'm typing right now) does not seem to do anything

I really do not keep track of the number of my posts - but am pretty sure it was well over 100 - it is now reading 71

If I click to view my profile the right column has someone else's name listed - if I click on edit it does bring up my info to edit.

It listed me as an 11year old female - I am neither! I edited my gender, this took - I erased the invalid birthdate, which I am sure I never entered, and I am still listed as a pre-teenager, oh well!

      There is more but ...
well one more if I'm on the main page and click my name on the top right I get a page modx/user with my name in a display box, says you were just talking about me - hope it was good - guess that is meant to make me feel special, so special that I click on the button about learning more about being a solution partner and I rewarded with a 404 (url is http://modx.com/partners/program/ )

You can switch to preview mode and then switch back to edit mode wink

You should now be able to edit your posts.

I see it is possible to edit posts now.
And when I click on my name the right column now has my info at the top not someone else's

            Quick work!

Still think I'm in the twilight zone as far as number of posts - but no biggy - and maybe I just remember incorrectly.

A new issue I noticed - I clicked on the 'New Replies' and was given a list of some old posts of mine, none of which had any new replies (this I guess is a small problem, but not one I think is too important) and when I clicked on a couple I noticed that some of the special text contained in the post was either removed (see the third post in this thread: http://ttyl.modx.com/thread/28763/white-screen-when-editing-chunk---solved-but-a-bug#dis-post-154727 - the "" should have an html open comment i.e.
            <!--
) or in another case was replaced by some smilelies (see the first post in this thread: http://ttyl.modx.com/thread/14145/tinymce-editor-and-html-entities#dis-post-77598)
This may make some old posts less understandable.

When I check this post with preview the links don't show up - we'll see what happens when I post it

Edit:The links work fine when posted so it is just the preview that is not previewing the links.
Edit #2: edit worked! [ed. note: whistlemaker last edited this post 15 years, 2 months ago.]

When I click on "View New" it shows no posts at all, but if, after that, I click on the "read all unread" button, the new posts come up.

When I went to "recent posts" this thread showed up, but after I had read it, it no longer appeared in recent posts.

Also, the stuff at the top is kind of mangled in FF 3.6.12 and the bottom nave sections is pretty fuzzy. I can't read anything below the bottom nav section except the "sign up" button. I can make out the white on light blue text if I stare at it long enough, but the green text at the bottom is completely illegible.

The green lines at the bottom ar

                    Some observations:

                    (1)
I edited my profile to change my age by chosing the date of birth from the calender (which has a strangely behaving scrollbar). After that the age showed correctly. But going back to Edit mode, the dob again is replaced by the dummy value.

                    (2)
After a Logout a new try to Login again is answered by the message that I'm already logged in...

                    (3)
The light gray and pale blue texts on a white background is really a nuisance. To overview the list of threads they should have better contrast already before hovering them.
Best would be there were an alternative and a style switcher to choose the preferred appearance.

                    (4)
I'm missing the good old forum...

I have new replies to my posts, but nothing shows up when I select "New Replies."
