If I look on the server, in directory ’image / gallery’, I have 2 images (1280x1024 px and 1024x768) to the root.
I have a directory ’_thumbnails’ empty.
and another directory ’test’ with 4 images :
- 1sptizberg1024.jpg (1024x768 px)
- 20101007_1805.jpg (1677x1125 px)
- aquarium.jpg (1024x768 px)
- and farniente.jpg (1024x768 px)
These are the original images downloaded.
No thumbnails, no image generated with the dimensions shown in the default configuration.

If I change the settings for images: width = 600, height = 400.
I download a new image in the directory ’test’
I generated image:
- pyramidemaya.jpg (533x400 px)
No image appears on the site

In the directory ’test’, I get the following errors:

You can ignore them all.
The script does several tests against files and dirs, by running converted functions, like is_dir(filename) or is_file(dirname), so the script can open a folder even with a dot like an extension.
Of course PHP will notice the error.

But I’m curious about no picture, so let’s turn the debug off.
Have you tried another kind of slideshow?

The debug is off.

When i use this code

I see images on my site.

When I change my code:

[!easy2? &gid=`3` &slideshow=`smoothgallery` !]

or another slideshow (for example)

[!easy2? &gid=`3` &slideshow=`galleriffic` &ss_config=`example-1` !]

I don’t have images.

added a new field in the db named ’bigurl’ in easy2_files

in e2g.module.class.php

inserted new lines after 1900,3460,3932 and added:

in e2g.snippet.class.php

inserted new lines after 1890,1944,1996 and added:

$_ssFile['bigurl'][] = $fetch['bigurl'];

inserted a new line after 2098 and added:

$l['bigurl'][] = $fetch['bigurl'];

in english.inc.php added:

'bigurl' => 'Big URL',

in page.edit_file.inc.php

inserted a new line after 67 and added:

Now I can alter the big image link to whatever I want. Either an internal resource or external link.

@goldsky It wasn’t so much that I needed to link the image to a resource as it was that I needed to change the url of the big image link. I played around with the quill snippet trying to populate a drop down with resources so you could link a resource. I couldn’t get it to work, but this isn’t what I really needed anyway. I needed to be able to change the big image link to ’any’ url, internal or external. Thank you very much for pointing out the functions, that led me right to it.

Here’s a quick modification to the old maxigallery managermanager backend widget to work with e2g. I don’t like the iframe either but it is a bit more convenient than switching back and forth from edit mode to the e2g manager.

- create a folder named ’e2g_backend_manager’ in assets/plugins/managermanager/widgets/

- save the following code as a file named ’e2g_backend_manager.php’ and drop it in the folder.

$docid = default landing page for the e2g manager display. I have mine set to the ’files’ page instead of the dashboard.
$title = the managermanager tab name.
$roles = roles that can see the tab
$templates = templates that display the tab

then add the managermanager rule and adjust accordingly.

If I replace:

I get the right structure of the gallery.
The gallery still does not appear but the css file that is in question.

If I compare files version of E2G 1.0 rc1 with that of E2G 1.0 rc3, I am trying to remove changes.
Have you tested your code before posting the package?
- Slideshow files must be present in 2 places : in /libs/slideshows... and /modules/easy2/slideshows. We must choose
- The parameters chosen for the image ratios filter all images.I have put the max size to 1.5 to see the pictures in the gallery structure. But I still do not understand why the slideshow does not appear.
