I was going to try and use the tag field to link the big image link to a URL was why I was asking actually. So instead of getting the big image when they click the slideshow picture, it takes them to a page on the same site. I’ve tried landing page but I need a separate URL for each slideshow image. On another note some of the description calls in the slideshow index are wrapped in p tags. The description field tiny_mce editor adds its own p tags on save which results in nested p tags if you enter a description.

Then maybe in the page.edit_file template add the corresponding text field?

I think I can do most of this (still learning), but what I don’t know how to get to work is the call to custom.

A possible suggestion for one of your future updates.
In the user manager, possibly add to the permissions, the ability to decide who can see what main menu options.
That way admins can see everything, but you could limit users to only folder/image options, with no possibility of messing with config., plugins, etc.

I hope to post an updated Spanish lang. file soon.

@islander it’s already there. If you create a user group and a resource group they’ll show up on the users page in the menu.

I created a ’Managers’ user group and linked it to a ’Gallery’ resource group for example.

Pretty slick, I would have never guessed it. Always a few steps ahead.

Now, have there been any other thoughts about adding swf, flv support?

If you dig deeper into the e2g.snippet.class.php, the private function _slideshow() does all the images fetching.
If you’re thinking about connecting some specified images to any related resources, I’d rather add a kind of TV for each images/resources, so anyone can freely make any additional info into that images, eg: EXIF data, or Location, etc.

Lol... it’s beyond my imagination already.

I tested Easy 2 Gallery but no picture appears when I use the slideshow mode.

Your Root Gallery contains no pictures, but folders only.
Try to pick any &gid.

I posted a error in my code:

I have a folder (Id=3) with 4 pictures.

try &ss_allowedratio=`all`, or stretch it wider: &ss_allowedratio=`1.00-2.00`
perhaps your picture’s ratio (w/h) is not in the config range.
