Export of static HTML fails with errors when a non-standard port is used for the web server. For details and solution see:

In the static HTML export section it says:

The files created will be saved in the location you specify...

but it appears the location /assets/export is hard coded into the export_site.static.php file (around line 74). Am I missunderstanding what this text means?

Heres the issues im having so far - wether or not they are to do with 0.9.6 or wether they are server related Im not sure .. it all worked before though!

1:TINYMCE: will only show a very simple menu bar .. even if i change it in settings .. i cant get the advanced one!
2:insert image doesnt give me a button for the file manager.
3:on saving a document i get a warning about "" alias already in use .. and aliases dont stick

are there any cures for any of these yet ?

        Thnx

Martyn, I believe all of these have been discussed in-depth. The alias issue is fixed in trunk (will be officially released with 0.9.6.1 very soon), and there are several threads in the TinyMCE forums that discuss the changes to the most recent distribution of TinyMCE which would be causing #1. Not sure about #2...

There a section about the discussion of Rich Text Editors & File Browser and also the TinyMCE discussion thread under the Repository Items Support section. Take your pick grin

                I have a question/bug report.

Why when a document is un-ticked under the publish on the edit screen, does it still render the page in Firefox, in IE it doesn’t show the page, and shows the default error page - however in Firefox the page shows up OK.

Are you perhaps logged into the Manager in another tab in Firefox?

It is a pretty slick trick, isn’t it? You can unpublish a document so that the public doesn’t see it and continue to work on it. MODx is chock full of neat and useful surprises.
