Yeh that’s ace, I am going to do my whole site like that now! I am using a combination of clever folder tricks, and the ModX MOD_REWRITE "friendly URLs" trick to get a pretty slick site which is dual language and will allow the user to toggle languages, but will also allow me to put static non ModX pages into the works as well - it’s gonna be ace when it’s done, but I didn’t want the public seeing any of it... so that feature is going to help no end! Thanks for pointing it out, I always do my editing in FF and just test in IE/Opera/Safari... I thought it was a bug or something! Thanks again!

I’m kicking myself for having deleted the installer before checking this carefully so I could report it properly, but I guess I’ll mention it anyway since it should be an easy fix...

I’ve done several fresh 0.9.6 installs lately and always unchecked the QuickEdit module and plugin. However the plugin is always installed anyway and causes a parse error upon trying to view the public site until you delete or disable it. The module is not installed, however (hence the parse error).

I didn’t see this in Flyspray, so I reported it here: http://modxcms.com/bugs/task/933

Since you know how to code and troubleshoot Zap I expect you’ll follow up with a suggested patch, no? tongue

I have a sub-directory with a separate ModX install on the site where my main ModX site is hosted (I’m setting up another game-related website, and I’m using this host to show it off for hosting).

Anyways, I have IMG links like /aim.png. Those reside on my "main" website, but since it’ll be the same structure once I get this new site properly hosted, it won’t matter. So when I edit the page with the IMG links, and click the "Save and Continue" radio button, the Manager adds assets/ to the link, which gives a broken image. The weird thing is, if I have it set to close the page after editing, it works fine.

Any ideas why this is happening?

Are you using any sort of RTE (like TinyMCE)? I’ve been trying to narrow down this issue, but I can’t figure it out. huh

Nah, just the "text" editor. I code my own HTML, so I don’t need the RTE ones.

What is "Rewrite browser paths?" set to in Tools -> Configuration -> Interface & Features?

I think that controls how MCPuck creates links generated in RTEs.

That option didn’t work for me sad

I disabled the Resource Browser (since my server needs to have stuff CHMOD 777 to do anything to it >.>), but if I enable it and check that setting...

That setting is set to yes, and the other two fields below it are set to the /assets/ directory, obviously with the correct path to it on the server,
