Can you try entering plain text, instead of the snippet call, in the area you want for the login box? Can you get that to show.

So, if I gather correctly, when you place text in the m3_rightContainer TV it does not show on the page? Just because you said you are brand new with this, I have a few simple questions I have to make sure of.
Have you created a TV called m3_rightContainer? Do you have a check in the checkbox for the template being used in the TVs "Template Access" options?

I got it working now. Thanks for your help!!
Hi.
First off, thanks for porting this template, great work.
I am a noob at Modx (1 week), but I have managed to get this template up and running after a fashion.
I initially made a mistake and downloaded the wrong version and could not get the login to work. I read through this thread and found that the beta 4 was the newest. After applying the new login chunk I get strange results.
My manager users can not log in. wrong user, password, etc. They are not logged in. They can log in normally to the manager side.
My web users get the 404 page but they get logged in nevertheless. This might be an issue with some unneeded pages i removed.
My first priority now is getting a manager login to work so that the editors can use quickedit. They can login from the manager side, but I would like to use the m3_login form.
(BTW, signup works)
I wonder if any of you could give me some pointers to where the problem might be?
Cheers,
Andreas.
Manager users and web users are completely separate in MODx right now. The Front End login only works for web users. For managers to use quick edit, they just have to login to the Manager and then hit "Preview." While browsing around they will have access to quick edit.
For the 404 error, make sure you have this parameter in your WebLogin snippet call:
&loginhomeid=`[(site_start)]`
Alternatively you could replace site_start with any published page like:
