After testing the development version when building the templates, I must say that I’m impressed. I really look forward to spending more time with MODx, it is a lot of potential. I hope everyone will like the new look, so I can stay on the team! Haha... smiley

Thanks everyone! smiley But I’m not taking over anything... I’ve made one of the designs (with a few variations) that will be included in the next release. Since you know my work, you should be able to guess that it is a simple and functional design without any cool effects. So don’t expect any big surprise, it is only one design out of several included.

What may be a bit better is that I will hang out in the forums to help you out with anything related to HTML and CSS (and theming, once I get more familiar with MODx). I will also try to bring some crazy ideas into the marketing soon.

Andreas, just a quick start for theming MODx.

Try not to use [*content*] as your main content area; instead, create a new TV called [*main_content*], then put [*content*] inside this TV as a default value. On your template, put [*main_content*] as the main content area. With this, you can style the content to be placed whereever you want on the main content area. It’s just my 2 cents, coz I’m lerning it from trial and error. So hopefully it will be useful to some of you guys.

If it consufe some of you guys, just ignore it then wink

              Hello

              Just a stupid question.

The upgrade from 0.9.1 to 0.9.2 is easy (copy/paste) ?

              Thank’s

It shouldn’t be any issue whatsoever to upgrade from 0.9.1 to the next release at all. Probably take more time to FTP the files than to run the upgrader.
