    :-) just when i was about to submit my message, i got the notification that there’s a new reply to this thread...btw., semantically you should get wayfinder to insert a class="menu" in the ul instead of an id. ids are for parts of the website that appear just once, with your nested ul it appears twice.

      thanks again fellas, sorry for my delay, i conked out last night once it was all working. [sharkbait] someone else also told me that the menu div should only appear once instead of multiple times only the innerTpl didnt work for me to get rid of it [mentioned i think by david [bunk58] on the previous page of this thread. might look into making it a class instead of a div over the next few days, i think i did try at one point only it was looking very not right... some good sleep will help wink i hope!

      my dad emailed me today and said he noticed that ’using Mozilla Firefox 3.0.3 on Linux the "Work with us" drop-down menu is partly obscured by the heading "Our values" page’. i’m on a mac and the browsers shots i’ve used for reference dont show the dropdowns so i cant see it myself. is anyone able to offer an idea of why that might be? i’ve used sifr code to render the page headings in a chosen font [flash]. the code is:
      sIFR.replaceElement(named({sSelector:"h2", sFlashSrc:"caflisch.swf", sColor:"#615C52", sWmode:"transparent"}));
      and i had thought the sWmode would do the trick. seems not though...?
      cheers and cheerio for the moment...
