Does changing it manually fix anything?
I did not email the author as I have been extremely busy with other project but the capitalization trick worked for me.
The accountid doesn't include the UA- or -x that the webPropertyId has, it's just the numbers in between.

I am struggling with this plugin as well. You do need to register the domain you are using for your manager with google, so that it will allow you access to the analytics data. This will resolve the error that the site has not been registered.
I did have the plugin working at one point, but now all it does is give a "Couldn't connect with google analytics" error that I have not been able to resolve. Uninstalling and reinstalling did fix it briefly at one point, but is not fixing it now.

And once you establish a connection with google, the session token should set on it's own.

Good to hear!
@elebrun: can you remove all the analytics-related config settings from your system settings and try authenticating again. Are you using the 2.2 version btw?

Those are all now set correctly for me...still doesn't work. It loops from authenticating, to selecting the site, back to asking for authentications again..
My version is 2.2.0-pl2
I'm out of ideas right now. The only thing I can come up with, to fix this issue, is to mail me some MODX login details, so we can try it out. My email is gp [at] sterc [dot] nl
We can try to debug it with our own analytics account and see what happens...

I would uninstall the widget. Then do a force package removal, make sure you're on 2.2.0pl2, and then reinstall the widget and start fresh.

Yea, tried that...nothing. Could it be because the site I'm trying to add is a "profile" underneath a main account?
Might be. I signed in to the main account. You can then select related profiles with the Widget once you are approved.
