I managed to fix the ’editedon’ error editing some lines in the schema. (also made this changes manually in the table structure) as im new to Modx and dont know exactly how to recreate the table from the schema once its created.
Hope it helps. Saw this thread is old, but today i had the same problem using 2.0.8-pl and latest Quip version.
core/components/quip/model/schema/quip.mysql.schema.xml
(and in the modx db: the modx_quip_comments table)
Search for this lines in the .xml and update the null value and add default="" to allow null values the first time its created for editedon, deletedon, and approvedon
<field key="editedon" dbtype="datetime" phptype="datetime" null="true" default="" />
<field key="approvedon" dbtype="datetime" phptype="datetime" null="true" default="" />
<field key="deletedon" dbtype="datetime" phptype="datetime" null="true" default="" />
Did some tests and seems to be working ok now.
Don’t know exactly if this is a bug.
Prefer someone with more experience to check this and point in the right direction.
I love the MODx flexibility, kudos for the people creating such awesome CMF.
Just managed to mount a full site today complete with comments, gallery, blog, phpthumbof, and listings. Only quip was giving me some trouble but finally solved.
