    Okay update on the situation.

I have sucessfully updated to 2.05.

I have installed quip etc okay.

I modified the MySQL tables to allow NULL for createdon editedon etc

I can now post comments. The only problem is thee threads do not show up in the manager.

    I have set

    /assets/components
    /core/components

    to write

are there any other folders that need to be made writable.

    Regards

I have also tried updating to the newest quip 1.2.3 and quip would not display anything at all. Where as before you could see the header and tabs saying thread etc now there is nothing.

I don’t really know what could be the issue here. If you’re running Revo 2.0.5 and Latest Quip, there should be no problem.

I think your problem is now exactly the same as mine:

              Edit:
the problem might be created by running latest quip version in modx 2.0.4...?

Yeah but I am running 2.05 with the latest quip.

I managed to get it working on a 2.04 set up with an older quip but I cannot revert now as I will not be able to get hold of that older quip.

                Regards

Your right! I just meant that this issue is created by running latest quip (witch is build for modx 2.0.5) with modx 2.0.4. And an update to modx 2.0.5 (after running latest quip with 2.0.4) does not solve these issue.

Has anyone had any success with this issue yet?

                      I am using PHP 5.2.14
                      and MySQL 5.0.51a

                      Is this okay for ModX?
