Quip Comments not working

Okay I have downloaded XAMPP and instaled the latest ModX and Quip and can confirm that this to is not working installed correctly etc no errors but none of the threads load.

So there must be some error somewhere with ModX 2.05

On your Xamp intallation, did the mysql version changed ?

XAMPP using MySQL 5.1.44 should be okay right?

Tried another install on a XAMPP on my Windows machine.

So the latest Quip and Revo 2.0.5 are confirmed working with
PHP Version 5.3.1 and MySQL 5.1.41

I have not tried on a live system yet though as my hosts tried to update to MySQL 5.8 and it has f****d all my sites up so need to resolve that first.

Quip 1.2.3 does not work on my live system with modx 2.0.6 pl (fresh install), mysql 5.1.43 and php 5.2.12!

I also noticed that a click an the refresh button caused a loop of "Loading...".

Yep, Im getting a similar problem when installing the Modxss site demo. Im Running MySQL 5.1.48Community-log
The following errors on install:

I have the same problem - no comments showing in the backend (and the page continually loads on refresh). Also the ’remove’ link is there when I’m not logged in. I’ve looked at the site on a different machine and someone else’s phone and still the ’remove’ link is there on the comments. My server is running mysql 5.0.87.d10-ourdelta and php version 5.2.14. I’ve installed Modx 2.0.7-pl (traditional) and quip 1.2.4.

Is there anything that I can do (can’t upgrade mysql & php)?
