I've never noticed a speed difference with it off (I always leave it off -- it's one less thing to worry about when things go sideways). It might be noticeable on a slow internet connection.

      OK...

So now I am back on this issue. I have done #1 and rebooted. I logged in and get pretty much the same skinny-ass iframes that are unusable (see attachment).

So now I am going to try #2. It looks like it worked for someone. I obviously don't have a lot of patience with this stuff, I think it should just work. I have better things to do. But, so do you, and I thank you for trying to help. I apologize for being easily distracted, but I have way too many projects that need My attention and this one is just plain taking too much of it.

Uh-oh... I tried to reply and it didn't work? Or did it?

        Logged into phpadmin...

        `modx_system_settings` > compress_css
        `modx_system_settings` > compress_js

OK, I changed them from a 1 to a 0 (they are boolean values).

Now on to Step #3... (gotta go back and see what it is)

Deleted all the directories and files in the core/cache... Whalla!

COOL! Thanks, Bob! Now I can actually put some sort of a site there. wink

I'm having the same issue... 2.2.8. I changed the db values, cleared the cache, and deleted cookies, and I've still got the undefined error when I log into the manager. I checked all the config files, all the pathing looks good there. Any other thoughts BobRay? Thanks!

New install, updgrade, or moved site?

Exactly what "undefined error" are you seeing?

No, that's the weird thing. I upgraded the 2.2.8 maybe a month ago, and hadn't had any trouble. The only thing we've done to it lately was change some content. It worked yesterday, and I woke up today, and it didn't work. As far as I know, no one's done anything to the core/config/manager files.

Also, I talked to the host, and they said nothing has been changed on the hosting, ie pathing or php upgrades (5.2)

NEVERMIND! It's always the stupid things. Client grabbed the connectors folder and drug it down a level. I'm cutting off their ftp account now smiley
