Are you absolutely sure that CloudFlare is completely off (maybe the server has to be restarted)? The fact that the client turned it on just before this started is powerful evidence.

CloudFlare can cache the output, but the uncached tags shouldn't be in the output to begin with... they should've been parsed before CloudFlare even touched it.
My gut says some sort of plugin is preventing parsing the tags. Can you list the plugins that exist in your install?

Go to the Plugins folder in the Elements tab, and disable all of the plugins, then see what happens.
Disabled them all. Nothing changed.

And if you change the snippet to cached, save, then it works? But if you change it back to uncached and save it stops working?
Yep, exactly. It's the most frustrating thing ever. It seems so simple, but everything I've tried hasn't had any effect.

[[!*pagetitle]]
[[!Wayfinder]]
[[-!Wayfinder]] // shouldn't parsed
