Just installed Revolution 2.2.6. All went very very well. Except, when all pages in the manager are blank. Nothing on them. When I initially log in there is the MODx News Feed, Security Feed, etc. but if I click any of the menu items (i.e. Dashboard, Site, System, etc. ) only a blank, whit page displays in the content area. I am also not able to logout.
Anyone else have this issue?

Try: Go to the database, into the system_settings table. Find compress_css and compress_js and set them to 0 (off).
Thanks for the quick reply. When you say "Go to the database..." do you mean within the database manager on my hosting site? Not within the MODx manager.... since all of my pages are blank.
I used my hosting control panel database manager, and was able to change compress_css and compress_js from 1 to 0.
Still no change. Whenever I click on any of the menu items in the MODx manager, a blank page display. Also—no column on the left that would usually display the resources, templates, and files trees.
Hmmmm???

Clear the cache manually. Delete all the core/cache folder files.
Sorry to be dense. So using my host's ftp manager, just select and delete those folders in the core/cache?
When you say core/cache folder files. Do you mean delete all of the folders? There are 12 folders (action_map, auto_publish, context_settings, etc. ). Within each folder there seems to be another folder or file or both.
Do they then automatically get regenerated?

I'm completely lost here and not confident on how to proceed. A bit of background on my hosting plan. I have a hosting plan that allows me to host multiple sites. This is the first time I have installed MODx on this particular plan. Would that have anything to do with the issue I am having? When I view my folder structure via the ftp manager, there is the main site and related files and folders. There is then a new folder where the domain I am now working on with MODx resides. So, the path as I interpret from looking at the ftp file manger is my primary account domain www.domain.com/beachhouse — beachouse being the folder designated to hold the new domain name and site I am trying to build in MODx.
I uploaded the MODx zip into the beachhouse folder, then unarchived it. Ran the setup. Everything went very smooth. No errors.
I was able to then login to the manager, and everthing seemed fine except that after clicking any of the available menu items, only a blank page appears. The manager's main naviagation is visible, but clicking any of the available buttons or drop menu items only displays a blank white page in the content region.
Will changing the compress_css and compress_js from 1 to 0 in the database and then deleting all of the folders and files in the core/cache fix my issue?

Yes, but only use FTP if you want to wait. Better is to use the control panel's file manager (may be the same as you're thinking with the host's ftp manager) and yes, delete all the files in the core/cache folder. You could even delete the cache folder itself but I never do. It will regenerate. You'll want to do this whenever you upgrade or reinstall, have some issue where you need to entire cache cleared, etc.

It could. Let's see what happens.
Have you made sure your php.ini is configured according to the installation documentation requirements? What version of php are you using?
I'm referring to the web host's ftp manager, as I am unable to use any of the functions within the MODx manager.
So, I'll go ahead an delete those files & folders in the core/cache. Just way over my head as to why and what I am actually doing. I do appreciate your support on this.
Question though: What about the compress_css and compress_js. Do I just leave those off. Or do I need to go back and turn them on again? I guess I'm just wondering that if they need to be off for the manager to work property, then why are they turned on with the original install?
