Hi there,
Using Ckeditor 1.3.0 with the Articles 1.7.10 extra the Save button doesn't wake/activate when I type text in the editor after a prior save. It does with TinyMCE. Is right click spellcheck functionality supposed to work on in CKeditor? Revo 2.3.2

Right click Spell does not work for me either. However, misspelled words do carry a red line. In the " Source" mode right click correct works.

By default a native browser spellcheck is enabled. To get native context menu you have to click when holding Ctrl key.
I'm working on option to disable custom context menu. For now you can disable it by removing "contextmenu" and "tabletools" plugins. And probably "scayt".

I upgraded the CKEditor Extra in MODX to the new 1.30 version, but did not "install" it.

Then, I installed the Revolution 2.3.2 update, and everything is working except I have no editor at all any more. CKEditor disappeared.

I looked in Extras, and now I could clearly see that CKEditor was not installed, so I installed it (and it appeared to be successful.) Clear Cache. Logout all users. Logged back in, still no editor. Uninstalled and reinstalled. Still no editor.

I checked in system Settings:

Enable Rich Text Editor - use_editor is set to Yes
Editor to Use - which_editor is set to CKEditor

Suggestions? What do I try next?

Can someone help me with this, please?

I just encountered the same issue. Disabling JS Compression in the manager seemed to fix it for me, however this obviously isn't ideal.

My compress_js had already been set to No

compress_js_groups, manager_js_zlib_output_compression, and compress_css had also all been set to No

the compress_js_max_files setting was set to 10, but (logically) that should not matter if compress_js is off/No.

I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the editor as well, and see no change.

I'm stuck.

@dennisleayh: Quite sure you thought of it before, but just asking: did you set user and group owner of all the relevant plugin directories to www-data:www-data ? I noticed some anomalies in past if this is not the case.

These are not MODx settings, but ownership of various folders inside the installation directory. If you are hosting on a Lunix box, you might find them in /var/www/core/components
