Thanks B-Rad, but didn’t work. Now I’ve discoverd 1 thing, that my php version is 4.3.09 and that the requirements of modx are php version 4.3.11
So perhaps this can be the solution... I’m going to upgrade this php version (my hostingcompany has to do this), and let you know if this was the case. (hope so) Also checked if they used this ’Fast CGI’ but this isn’t the case.
    So cross our fingers...
Many thanks for the advices. Want to try Modx, after years of Joomla (that still is a heck of a cms, and still growing) but I was charmed by the looks of modx, and wanted to try something new. Hope that it will work.

just called the hosting company, they will upgrade to PHP 5 in a few weeks. So I’ll have to wait, and let modx rest for a while, many thanks to you guys who are willing to help.
