Revo 2.2.4-pl Manager broken (JavaScript)

Hello just upgraded from Revo 2.1.3-pl to Revo 2.2.4-pl and seem to be getting this:

The Manager tree is missing and most of the javascript is broken. Even weird is I updated another site from 2.1.3-pl to 2.2.4-pl and it's working fine.

Any advice?

Have you cleared the cache manually, flushed permissions, and sessions?

I cleared the cache manually by removing /core/cache/

Nothing. How would I go about flushing the permissions and sessions manually?

Did you log out before upgrading?

Did you try clearing your browser cache and cookies?

Would re-uploading the manager folder help? I checked the links to all the JavaScript file in the source and they seem to be fine.

There seem to be some issues regarding MODx Manager Version 2.2+. I think they are mostly hosting related, but I have no idea where to point my finger.

Somehow MODx manager is eating server resources like crazy up to the point where the server will end all requst for a split second and the manager will stop updating a page.

I'll open a new thread with a few screenshots and some details here:

Interesting, can anyone else confirm this?

If possible, re-extract the original files into place and run upgrade again. If you use FTP to upload each file individually, see if you can upload a zip or tar of the files and extract it directly on the server to avoid potential FTP transfer issues that tend to trip folks up from time-to-time.

Could you tell us about your hosting environment?

Keep in mind the manager does interact with the connector folder so both would need to be updated.

I also seem to be getting:
Fatal error: Call to undefined method modTemplateVarOutputRenderDeprecated::parseInput() in /home/content/24/4804324/html/_sites/tttn/core/model/modx/processors/element/tv/renders/web/output/publisher.php on line 9

However this was a special web output I made for a snippet so am not really concerned at the moment. However it seems to say it can't find:
$this->parseInput();


Since all my data is in the mysql db should I delete
connectors
core
manager
setup
config.core
ht.access
index

and do a fresh install, the db should work fine since it already been updated right?
