Articles Not Creating

I am running MODX 2.2 and I installed Articles and as far as I know everything installed properly. I followed the instruction by @splittingred however every time I right-click on the file tree and go Create->Create Articles Here or even go Quick Create->Articles I get the attached error.

Not sure what to do. Does something else need to be created before I can create Articles? So far the site is working well its just this part that is not. I am running PHP 5.3.5.

Any help is much appreciated!

Make sure you're running MODX 2.2.1; Articles 1.5 requires it.

Ahh I didn't know it had to be MODX 2.2.1. I'll give that a shot.

Just to add it to the thread this was the error I got from PHP when I turned on error reporting.
Fatal error: Call to undefined method ArticlesContainer_mysql::getProperties() in /.../httpdocs/core/components/articles/controllers/container/create.class.php on line 81

Yep, that's cause that method doesn't exist on modResource prior to 2.2.1 - it was added to allow properties to be stored on Resources (rather than having to add DB fields to the table). Hence why Articles requires 2.2.1.

If yes, does the migration to Revo 2.2.1 restore the default site_content table (without the two added fields: articles_container and articles_container_settings ) ?

Upgrading to version 2.2.1 solved it though I got a few errors during installation.

That process really needs to go easier.

I got the articles to work but there are some errors showing up on the page.

Mainly this one shows up on all the article pages.

Notice: Undefined index: tag in /var/www/vhosts/boulden-test.com/httpdocs/core/cache/includes/elements/modsnippet/4.include.cache.php on line 97

I'm running across similar issue... had modx 2.2 running with articles running smoothly... upgrade articles to 1.5, got errors. Didnt realize it needed 2.2.1. Upgraded to 2.2.1, reinstalled articles 1.5.

Everything is showing up, appears good, however, when I click on the "New Article" button on any of my article containers, it does nothing. I can edit articles, I can duplicate articles, but cannot add a new article. Any suggestions?

I have the same problem as orbitalalliance. In browser's console there is error:
