Media Sources (2.2.0-pl2) Unable to select Policy (no list) when adding User Group

With a 2.2.6 installation on the Cloud, I have this last problem; the Media Source Admin access policy has no permissions. This happened after I added two contexts; before that my media sources worked fine. Or at any rate I didn't notice a problem until after adding contexts.

A re-install (so easy on the Cloud!) solved the problem, but I do have to wonder why it occurred in the first place. [ed. note: sottwell last edited this post 13 years, 9 months ago.]

I have the same issue on most of my sites and I have a good handful. I had to go through about 5 sites before I found a copy that had Access Policies that were not empty. These are all 2.2.6 & 2.2.7 but started off as various other versions then upgraded.

That said one of the ones that was empty was a 2.2.6 modxcloud site which has then been upgraded to 2.2.7.

Another which was recently created was again modxcloud but a fresh 2.2.7 install and it had the settings.

I have attached the policy files to this post for anyone who cannot find a valid copy to install.

Once I did this my empty Policy pull down worked.

Thanks for this. I posted it as a bug recently. Now at least I know what is going on and how to get around it. My installations are on MODX Cloud and still having the problem. They were both upgrades from 2.2.6
