Why not jquery ?

I can rarely get through a project without adding ThickBox, so I still use jQuery all the time (I don’t use QuickEdit, so that doesn’t cause me any grief).

same here and i think "inline editing" feature might be a choice instead of quickedit.

I think what really makes the difference between mootools and jquery is this:

Funny, we were just discussing that...

LOL ... indeed.

C’mon, y’all! All this 1ee7 5p33k came after my time! It took Ryan’s LOL to even make me realize there was something funny here.

And I still don’t get it...

Let’s just say that there’s a different vibe in the Mootools forums vs. what’s here in the MODx forums (and what’s exhibited in the jQuery mailing lists). Mootools is solely focused on experienced Javascript developers, and clearly states that newbies really should check elsewhere first. It’s entirely their prerogative to run their project that way, and really does a lot to keep their support channel focused.

Wow, that is a very polite way to say it Ryan - by the way, is anybody going to respond to John Resig’s post?

I had a long conversation with John yesterday.
