In my opinion, it should be a top priority to fix this. It's discouraging me from browsing the forums - from visiting them at all unless I absolutely have to. I seriously doubt I am alone in this sentiment!

Reopened as of now.
My biggest issue with the forum is that 'Recent Posts' is limited to 10 posts and 'View New Posts since last visit' is often empty when it shouldn't be. Worse yet, viewing my own posts is also limited to the last 10. Maybe I should post less often.
And "New Replies" is still unreliable. It doesn't show the most recent replies and it keeps showing me replies I've already read.
I often try to get back to answer a question someone has asked and can't find it in either place -- If search doesn't do it, I'm SOL.
