German is in the works. Or better: It is finished, we just polish it up in the german community.

@Shaun: CLA is sent to Ryan, so I can add in JIRA when finished, right?

Another question: I managed to setup the language in the system settings, but there seem to be more than one setting to change. Would nice to have some instructions (setting names etc.)

I’m confused; the lexicons for translating settings are all in core/lexicon/en/setting.inc.php. You shouldn’t have to do any translating through the UI.

What I meant is the system setting that has to be changed to change the language in the manager. Is it only System Settings->Language->"Manager Language"? I thought I had to change more than this. But I`m not sure anymore

Ah, yes, you found the first bug of RC-2.

Ignore the manager_language setting; it doesn’t work in RC-2. Set instead the ’cultureKey’ setting.
