I did a part of the Norwegian translation earlier, and I can do the same this time, but If the Norwegian files is to come from my hands it will not be finished before September. But then I can do it.

Thanks for uploading the language updates and catching the typos. September will miss the mark by several months. The differences between 0.9.6.3 and 1.0 are not all that great actually, so if the translation for 0.9.6.3 was good the updating task shouldn’t be all that momumental.

OK folks we’re getting closer and expect to have the new RTL implementation to test this week. Once that’s verified as good to go we’re going to wrap it up and ship out the Evo 1.0 release. Lots of cleanups and general tidying have occurred since RC1 was released, so please get your translations done ASAP. Thanks!

Just dropping by to say I have been away for personal reasons and was unable to jump in on this one, luckily Fairytree (aka @jcbrebion on twitter) took care of it and is verifying the french translation as I speak

Thanks to him !

Hm. Interesting... wonder why it’s doing that? (verified).
The $manager_language value is getting changed when user_settings.inc.php is included (in the manager index.php file). The user_settings are taken straight from the database... so it looks like language settings for user settings don’t get changed to go along with system settings.
I see a problem here. You can’t automatically set all user settings to match system settings if you change the system setting; individual users may have different language settings. On the other hand, it’s a real PITA to have to change all of your user’s language settings if you just want to have them all use the system setting.
There is a blank option at the top of the select drop-down for language; if you select this then the default system language setting will be used (the setting is removed from the individual user’s settings). If this were the default on installation this would solve that problem.
