    I usually repackage modx and remove all of the un-needed language files (can reduce by a few MB) and then I include the add-ons that have support files into the appropriate folders (snippets/modules/plugins/etc..). This way i have the files uploaded when I install MODx then it is just a matter of setting them up (installing) in the manager as needed. Remember that snippets that are installed in manager are also taking up space in the cache..so it is not always a good idea to install anything that you are not going to use wink

      I have updated the svn/tattoo/tattoo/branches/1.0/ with the new version of the French language files. See rev 5297 (installer) and 5296 (manager).

      See also this linked post.

        Hi there, I’d love to help with Polish translation if nobody is working on that, but I’m new to Modx and everything that happens here, so if there are some (detailed) instructions on how can I help..would be great. I’ve tried the script (gave around 1k lines not translated)..
        I’d be most interested if anyone is actually working on it already, if not I can try to help.

          There are base languages for the Manager, but none for the installer (Polish). You’d need to review the first message of this post and then make a copy of the english language file and start from there.

            For reference with the new transliteration capabilities, you would want to create language specific transliterations and put them into the /assets/plugins/transalias/transliterations directory. Currently the default one is as follow (see the actual file for non-entity conversion):
            <?php
            /**
             * Common transliteration table
             */
            return array (
            '&'=>'and','\''=>'','À'=>'A','À'=>'A','Á'=>'A','Á'=>'A','Â'=>'A','Â'=>'A','Ã'=>'A','Ã'=>'A',
            'Ä'=>'e','Ä'=>'A','Å'=>'A','Å'=>'A','Æ'=>'e','Æ'=>'E','Ā'=>'A','Ą'=>'A','Ă'=>'A','Ç'=>'C',
            'Ç'=>'C','Ć'=>'C','Č'=>'C','Ĉ'=>'C','Ċ'=>'C','Ď'=>'D','Đ'=>'D','È'=>'E','È'=>'E','É'=>'E',

            To change the default transliteration, you would need to go to the Elements > Manage Elements > Plugins tab and choose the "transalias" plugin. Adjust the values stored in the configuration parameter to match your transliteration needs and enter an optional TV that can be used to override the transliteration used on a per-page or per-section basis (when used with @INHERIT):

            The transliteration table has a bunch of duplicates. I think these should be removed, but care needs to be taken not to remove lookalike chars that aren’t duplicates. I know Notepad++ highlights matching characters when you select one, making this an easier task.

            Secondly, on the Russian, I believe that ый must be put before ы. Also wondering if й needs an entry, as it appears to be a different character than й.

              Why crucible is so laggy?
              Need to wait 10-30 seconds for response.
              And sometimes I receive 502 Proxy Error.

                @Paprikas
                JIRA/Crucible seems to have some memory leaks going on. I noticed the same thing last night but it seems to have resolved itself. (And welcome to the team too!)

                  Pardon the repeat, but wanted to post here for those that are getting notifications on this thread:

                  The countdown is on! Any language updates that will make it in time for Evo 1.0 need to be submitted over the next 72 hours or so. Please make the last updates and get them attached to the language updates thread. Thanks!
