Thanks for the tip WeBe...
Not sure but wouldn’t it be better to upload the same format and directory structure as the language kit ?
That’s what I did and I guess it would be a lot easier on the team...

Thanks guys! Now these will slip into the 0.9.6 RC2 release later today. I’ve updated the copyright and 095->096 issue in the readme files. Thanks!

Don’t forget the TinyMCE plugin, too! It’s really short and will also be in the new language translation kit.

Ooops I forgot that one
Assumed it was bundled with TinyMCE itself... I’ll add it soon !

Has the Spanish language pack already been submitted? For the 0.9.5 release I noticed that there was a pretty complete transtaltion available in the Spanish forums but it didn’t get into the right hands because the file that shipped with the release was 99% English. If no one’s claimed this task let me know and I’ll do it.
Alright well then I’ll get that togethr later today (right now I have to go make a batch of biodiesel for a few hours)...
I’m working on the Spanish version of the main language file now. It is taking me a while to reorganize the existing lines alphabetically, and I can’t help but make changes and additions as I go along. Hopefully I’ll have it done sometime tomorrow.
I created a new wiki page for it which I’ll update as I go along:
http://wiki.modxcms.com/index.php/Manager_es
I’m sticking to the formal (Ud.) tense where necessary because that’s what previous authors did, but personally I almost always use tú. So I’m rephrasing many of the sentences slightly to be able to use passive or indefinte subjects (Spanish is wonderful at being vague). When I’m done I’ll post a message in the Spanish forum and ask people there what they think of that idea.
Hi all,
@ZAP: Hola, que tal?

glad to see you’re using the wiki, and I totally sympathize with your difficulties with the Spanish translation - if you think Spanish is vague, you should cross the border to Portugal and see how you can get lost in formalese - Best of luck to you, mate
I just updated the
Language Files page in the wiki. Hopefully it’ll motivate more people to the translation process...
BTW, I’m doing this in hope that it will speed up the release of 0.9.6
Cheers, JP
